Vans Warped Tour

I realise I should have written about this last week but it seems I did not have the time.

I'm not going to do a review as I'm not overly confident with my ability to review anything I will just recount my day.

It started on a very cold very early Saturday morning. My day did start badly my car wouldn't start as my battery had died in the cold and I was already running late. My kind other half came out and jump started it for me, so I was off.

My next stop was to pick up four 15-16 year olds, you see I was chaperoning a group of 15-16 year old rockers. This is my first experience of chaperoning I believe I did a good job no one was killed or maimed so in my head a success was had.

Next place was the train station. Now Alexandra Palace is the hardest place to get too. We had to go to Clapham Junction then to London Victoria were we stopped for Subway. Next was Finsbury Park then finally Alexandra Palace. There is quite an uphill walk to the actual palace from the station so…

Its My Birthday And I'll Cry If I Want To....

Yesterday was my birthday and I had a fantastic day. Firstly I got a great card from my boyfriend.

To Clarify, I am a massive Star Trek fan and our hamster name is Bones. If you like Star Trek you will understand.

Next we took a trip to my favorite shop Forbidden Planet to buy some geektastic things.

I added a Darth Vader and a Boba Fett bobble-head to my collection.

I also added to my graphic novel collection. I may do a review once I have read them but I do need volume 1. These are 2 and 3.
I finished off the day by watching the epic Band Of Brother which is where the crying came in.
Anyway that was a short description of my birthday I had a brilliant day.
Thanks for reading......

A little about me, I am a genuine geek not one of these hipster geeks but an actual geek. I love gaming, science, books, movies, comics. If only I had a clever enough brain I would have a PHD in something by now (actually probably not).
I tend to get over excited about things and when I get excited about things there are a lot of shouting and arm moving.
If I'm truly honest I don't really know what to write.
Lately I got bored and wanted to be more creative, so jokingly one night while having a intense gaming season said I was going to make an Anya Stroud cosplay for Halloween. So that's what did.
So with a few boxes, glue and newspaper I started to make my costume.
It started with the Lacer........

Then the armor...

Time for a bit of paint...

On the night...

It did however fall ap…
